The Thanksgiving Skate Jam was the first Rowan Skateboarding Club event that Garden Skate Project(GSP) sponsored. The Rowan Skateboarding Club and GSP began their mission of rebuilding the clubs DIY spot located at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. GSP built and donated a 18' box with a 20' hubba ledge in order to assist the Rowan Skateboarding Club in starting the process of recreating their skate spot.
Garden Skate Project(GSP) sponsored an event held by the Rowan Skateboarding Club along with Community Skate Boards and the Philadelphia Skateboard Academy. Rowan Skateboarding Club and GSP organized a skate trip from Rowan University to the Philadelphia Skateboard Academy for a night of skating and bringing the local community together.
Garden Skate Project(GSP) sponsored an event held by the Rowan Skateboarding Club at their DIY spot on the Rowan University Campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. GSP built a 12' wide bank to ledge for the club and held a 3 obstacle best trick contest. With money raised during the event from community contributions the space received a new grind box, to match the community's donation we threw in a bench to show our appreciation. The event featured live music, vendors, and was heavily supported by both the local skate community and New Jersey based skateboarding companies including: Community Skateboards, Metropia Skateboards, ALLIKNOWISGOON, ETHIK, Hook Skateboarding Co, Keep Pushing Productions, CSA Creations, and Frontside Bag.
On 5/31/24 at the request of Indigo Dispensary of Brooklawn, NJ we brought out the mobile park for a jam session with David Gravette and John Worthington of Creature Skateboards at a local basketball court along the Delaware River. With a huge turnout, the local neighborhood kids with popping up impromptu snack stands, and the help of a DJ and food truck, everyone had a blast. The homeowners around the park pulled out chairs and watched the show, making it a true community event.

The event featured Tricks for Treats open jam sessions, merch for best tricks, deck give-a-ways, and a product toss. As usual the event featured live and local music, vendors, and was heavily supported by both the local skate community and New Jersey based skateboarding companies including: Community Skateboards, Metropia Skateboards, ALLIKNOWISGOON, Hook Skateboarding Co, Keep Pushing Productions, CSA Creations, Tucks Tags, and many local photographers
